Our Profile


The Wall Street Technology Association, founded in 1967, is a not-for-profit educational organization that focuses on technologies, operational approaches, and business issues for the global financial community. The WSTA Vendor Affiliate Program offers organized opportunities for vendors to keep financial industry professionals aware of current and emerging technologies. In addition, the WSTA offers social events, networking opportunities, and its quarterly educational Ticker Magazine. Its web site is a great resource for industry information and WSTA news. Mission Statement

The WSTA provides a forum for IT and networking professionals in the financial industry to stay current on technology, operational approaches, and business issues that affect their firms. Founded in 1967, the not-for-profit Association facilitates interaction between financial technology professionals and a broad spectrum of vendors and consultants. This helps to ensure a high service level and development of new technology, pricing and service arrangements tailored to the financial industry.

Joining the WSTA

Now Accepting Membership Applications for 2010

WSTA Membership (open to Financial Firms)
Members of the WSTA consist of technology professionals in the financial industry (banks, brokerages, insurance companies). To be eligible for membership, the firm must be a member of one or more exchanges.

The WSTA offers several membership options including a Corporate membership (no limit to the number of members who may be listed) and an Associate membership for two people (perfect for smaller firms or as an introductory membership for a larger firm). There is also an individual, student and transition membership. Benefits of membership include free or discounted admission to the WSTA educational seminar series, subscriptions to the WSTA digital Ticker and Limelight e-newsletter and discounts on vendor products and services. WSTA Vendor Affiliate Program (open to vendors and industry consultants)
Platinum, Gold and Silver levels are available, each with its unique benefits. Based on a calendar year from Jan-Dec.

When your firm joins the WSTA Affiliate program, you receive a year of ongoing exposure and opportunities to build realtionships with WSTA members (over 1,700) and other technology professionals (approximately 13,000).

WSTA Events

WSTA Seminars
Typically half-day events with continental breakfast, keynote presentation by an industry analyst, followed by vendor presentations. Speakers also have tabletop space in the demo area.

WSTA Social Events
The WSTA hosts networking and social events to provide opportunities to meet new prospects and existing customers in a relaxed atmosphere. Summer Magic and Holiday Gala are the WSTA's two annual signature events. Smaller networking events are offered throughout the year. Sponsorships to promote your firm are also available.
