New York, NY, Feb. 7, 2008 -- In 2007, the WSTA was honored to celebrate its 40th year. The WSTA’s web site was redesigned in 2007 giving it a great new look, making it more user friendly, easier to navigate and offering many new enhancements and services. For 2008, the WSTA plans to host focused roundtables, leading edge showcases and other unique events that will address technology, business and operational information. “The WSTA is committed to being a resource to the financial IT community by providing access to a wide range of educational and industry related information via the Ticker magazine, events and the WSTA web site” said Mark E. Sanders, WSTA President. Other key areas of focus include member incentive programs, higher-education forums, networking events and web site enhancements. Some of the topics to be covered in 2008 include: Threat Management/Information Security; Next-Generation WANs; Unified Communications; Data Virtualization: Data Lifecycle Management; Hot Technologies and IT Operational Excellence.
