WSTA Launches New Web Site

New York, NY, May 14, 2007 -- In conjunction with its 40th anniversary, the WSTA recently launched an updated web site, www.wsta.org, with a new look and several new enhancements.

“We solicited feedback from our members and affiliates, and used that input to revamp our web site. Aside from a new look, the new site offers improved functionality and content organization,” said Mark E. Sanders, WSTA President. “The WSTA is committed to providing an online resource to the financial IT community that offers access to a wide range of educational and industry related information anywhere, anytime.”

New or enhanced features include:

  • A new member service called “Ask the Expert” where members can post a question and have it responded to by Nemertes Research, a leading-technology research consulting organization. Only WSTA members (financial firm IT professionals) will be able to view the entire answer in the members-only section.
  • Real Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds that provide users with up-to-date information about the association and its events.
  • The WSTA CyberLibrary provides in-depth IT analyst reports and vendor white papers for technology professionals in the financial industry. Search or browse on useful, up-to-date information on all aspects of IT, and signup for the free KnowledgeAlert email service to keep informed of new research in this fast-growing field. View the Daily Top 50 Reports for the most popular IT reports on technology products and services.
  • The WSTA home page now features the articles from latest issue of the Ticker magazine.
  • Career Center (coming soon) that will enable users to post resumes and research job opportunities. Recruiters will be able to post and search resumes.

The new WSTA web site was designed by Kurani Interactive of Red Bank, New Jersey.
