New York City, NY, December 4, 2006 -- The Wall Street Technology Association is pleased to announce the elected members of the 2007 WSTA Board of Directors.
Mark E. Sanders will return as President of the WSTA. He will continue to provide vision and direction for developing new and enhanced programs for the organization.
During 2007, the WSTA plans to continue to provide its members with high-quality educational programs and networking opportunities. In 2006, the WSTA added several new member services including a Members Only Center and Career Center to its web site. Bringing the end-user perspective to its educational seminar program has been a particular area of focus. These, as well as new initiatives planned for 2007 will continue to provide members with the technology, business and operational information they can apply within their businesses. Some of the topics to be covered in 2007 include: Risk Management & the Enterprise Technology Strategy; Mobility Solutions for the Untethered Enterprise; Real-Time Trading & Information Distribution and Next Generation Data Challenges and Solutions. The WSTA will also continue its efforts to develop new relationships with other industry-relevant organizations and publications to enhance the educational information available to its members.
