Dr. Howard A. Rubin, CEO and Founder, Rubin Worldwide
Dr. Howard A. Rubin is a Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at Hunter College of the City University of New York, a MIT CISR Research Affiliate, a Gartner Senior Advisor, and a former Nolan Norton Research Fellow. He is the founder and CEO of Rubin Worldwide. Dr. Rubin is a pioneer in the area of technology economics and has built the world's largest database in the field consisting of business, national, and technology data. . His current portfolio of client companies in total generate more than $1.5T in revenue to the global economy annually and account for almost $100B in yearly Information Technology (IT) spending. Dr. Rubin has also worked directly with heads of state or their key ministers around the world in the development of national competitive technology strategies.
He is also the author of the new Pearson video series on Technology Economics. His Technology Economics column regularly appears in Wall Street and Technology.
Dr. Rubin possesses a Ph.D. from the City University of New York in Computer Science and Oceanography.
Outside the world of technology Dr. Rubin is Chair of the Board of Riverkeeper, a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a Leadership Council member of the RFK Foundation, a major support of student development programs at the Tribeca Film Institute, and a supporter of the Rainforest Foundation.
Lisa Chow, Director of Marketing, HP
Lisa Chow is director of marketing at HP. She leads the Company’s worldwide software vertical industry marketing effort for Financial Services. Ms. Chow has a deep understanding of the market dynamics that challenge today’s global enterprises and how technology can impact businesses. She was an industry analyst and management consultant before her current career in high-tech marketing. Before joining HP, Ms. Chow was a Business Executive with BTC Logic where she was responsible for helping clients develop and implement technologies related to business process automation and customer engagement. In the late ‘90s, Ms. Chow also worked for Sun Microsystems, where she held various senior marketing and business development roles working with large enterprise customers including many leading financial services institutions on their technology adoption of middleware and system management software. Ms. Chow holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Hong Kong, a Master of Science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is also active in her community and sits on the board of several nonprofits.
Lilac Schoenbeck, Director, Cloud and Automation Marketing, BMC Software
Lilac Schoenbeck is the Director of Solutions Marketing for Cloud and Automation at BMC Software. Schoenbeck has more than 15 years of experience with product marketing, strategy, business development, and software engineering in the grid, virtualization, and cloud domains. She has worked for IBM, Fortisphere, Innosight, and the Globus Alliance and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Computer Science degree from Pacific Lutheran University.

Jim Hirt is Vice President of Dimension Data's Services business. He has more than 25 years in the IT industry with extensive enterprise experience in telecommunications, Infrastructure-as-a-service (Iaas), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and professional services. Carson Sweet is co-founder and CEO of CloudPassage. His information security career spans two decades and includes entrepreneurial, management and hands-on technology experience. He holds multiple industry accreditations including ISACA CISM and ISC2 CISSP. Prior to co-founding CloudPassage he served as RSA's principal solutions architect for the financial services sector.

Timothy Reed brings extensive expertise in the transformation and delivery of IT and operational initiatives, acquired over a 20+ year career in global corporate and consulting roles. Tim has worked in the Insurance, Financial Services, Pharma, Manufacturing, Consulting and Media industries at the senior executive levels to deliver significant global programs including; IT and Operations Transformation, cloud strategy and deployments, ERP solutions, global vendor management, and global data warehousing /analytics. His CIO experience in leading complex operational and organizational change initiatives has been used to validate strategic objectives, develop the roadmap and plans, and lead the change activities required to achieve both targets and steady state operations.
