WSTA Selects Board of Directors 2007


During 2007, the WSTA plans to continue to provide its members with high-quality educational programs and networking opportunities. In 2006, the WSTA added several new member services including a Members Only Center and Career Center to its web site. Bringing the end-user perspective to its educational seminar program has been a particular area of focus. These, as well as new initiatives planned for 2007 will continue to provide members with the technology, business and operational information they can apply within their businesses. Some of the topics to be covered in 2007 include: Risk Management & the Enterprise Technology Strategy; Mobility Solutions for the Untethered Enterprise; Real-Time Trading & Information Distribution and Next Generation Data Challenges and Solutions. The WSTA will also continue its efforts to develop new relationships with other industry-relevant organizations and publications to enhance the educational information available to its members.

Here is a brief introduction of the new WSTA Board members

Jerry Bartlett, Chief Information Officer, TD AMERITRADE Mr. Bartlett oversees all information technology initiatives at TD AMERITRADE, including business technology planning, application development, product development, information and physical security, as well as IT infrastructure and architecture. Mr. Bartlett joined Ameritrade in 1999 and has over 17 years of experience leading application development groups in the financial, insurance and healthcare industries. In 2005, Mr. Bartlett was recognized as one of Computerworld's 2005 Premier 100 IT Leaders. He holds a bachelor's in Technology and Management from the University of Maryland.

Robert J. Healy, Managing Director, Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Healy has twenty years experience in the field of Information Technology. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Healy was head of Global Network Services for Deutsche Bank and for Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities businesses. He is a member of several technology-related Boards as well as actively participating in community and charity events. Mr. Healy lives in Chatham, New Jersey, with his wife Pamela and their twins, Catherine and Liam.

Eric A. Latalladi, CISSP, ISSMP, ISSAP, CHS-3, Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, J.B. Hanauer & Co. Mr. Latalladi has been at J.B.Hanauer & Co. since 2000, and currently serves as Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, as well as interim Chief Information Security Officer. His responsibilities include directing the customer service, national infrastructure and corporate information security teams. As a member of The Gatehall Group, Mr. Latalladi provides extensive information security and technical consulting services to organizations in the tri-state area.

Joel Rosner, Vice President, Corporate Financial Systems, AllianceBernstein, LP. Mr. Rosner heads AllianceBernstein's Corporate Financial Systems. He is responsible for the firm's core financial systems including general ledger, financial reporting, billing, payroll, and purchasing. Prior to joining AllianceBernstein, Mr. Rosner was an executive consultant at IBM Global Services and Anderson Consulting specializing in project management and technical architecture for Wall Street's investment banks and managers. Mr. Rosner also held management roles at several Wall Street firms including Citicorp, Lehman Brothers and HSBC.

Jim Routh, CISM, Chief Information Security Officer, The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation Mr. Routh has over 20 years of experience in information technology and information security as a practitioner, management consultant and leader of technology functions and information security functions for global financial service firms. Mr. Routh designed and implemented an enterprise wide information security program for the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Prior to joining DTCC he was the first CISO for American Express and responsible for the implementation of an enterprise-wide implementation of GLBA specific controls and practices within two different banking entities. He also held several other positions during his tenure at American Express and was a management consultant in information technology for dozens of leading financial service firms for over 12 years.

Joseph Weitekamp, Senior Vice President, Strategic Technology and Architecture at ITG Inc. Mr. Weitekamp and his team identify emerging technological opportunities for ITG to capitalize on in the continuing evolution of its direct market access, algorithmic trading, crossing and analytic products. A former staff consultant with Deloitte Consulting, Intrasphere and marchFIRST, Mr. Weitekamp has a history as a software and hardware engineer in Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals and Manufacturing. His personal vocations include family, piano and SCUBA diving.
