The Center for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications (CATT) at Polytechnic University is one of the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR) Centers for Advanced Technology. CATT focuses on working with industry in the areas of networks, distributed applications, cyber-security and wireless networks. The National Science Foundation designated Wireless Internet Center for Advanced Technology (WICAT, http://www.wicat.poly.edu) works closely with CATT to meet industry's needs in all areas of information technology.
