The Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA®) is a membership-based educational & networking association for financial technology & business professionals.
Through virtual and hybrid events, the WSTA brings thought-leaders together to discuss various technologies and to share their experiences and spur innovative thinking. Semi-annual networking events foster a close-knit network of professionals. Additionally, Members have access to educational resources including videos, articles, and white papers.
Corporate Membership provides value to both technology and business teams at financial firms.
Our educational events offer insightful content often highlighting the convergence of where technologies are enabling business opportunities and product enhancements. In addition to events, Members are eligible to participate on WSTA Committees and Panel Discussions; have access to educational resources; opportunities to earn CPE credits and more.
The WSTA provides a unique opportunity for financial professionals, technology vendors, service providers, and industry consultants to be a part of a community that offers ongoing educational and networking opportunities. Here’s what makes us different and why you should get involved:
The WSTA is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization. It provides a forum where everyone involved in the industry can get together to share information and develop new relationships on an ongoing basis. This approach enables better collaboration, increases innovation, and provides opportunities to develop new relationships.
With almost 2,800 members from 50 financial firms, over 100 vendors participating, and the support we get from industry consultants, the WSTA provides a great opportunity to get involved with an organization that specifically focuses on financial services and technology.
The WSTA offers opportunities to get together with industry colleagues after hours to catch up or meet new people. At special events like Wine Tastings and Golf Outings, members and vendors have opportunities to engage in an informal atmosphere. These in-person socials are a great way to connect and develop industry relationships.
Event content is developed by financial services professionals, for financial services professionals. The WSTA Board, members, industry consultants, and technology vendors get together to develop each year’s topics. With their experience and expertise, we are able to distill complex topics down to the insights that matter most to FSI professionals. This is followed by an in-depth review of the abstracts and presentations to make sure the content is timely and relevant. An extensive library of white papers, infographics, videos, etc., on the topics being addressed at events supports the material covered.
More than ever, time is an important commodity. We work hard to minimize the time you need to spend to get high-quality content developed specifically for FS. Whether in-person or virtual, it isn’t necessary to spend a full-day or two to get beneficial and timely information that can be provided in a few hours.
“Technology is the foundation of the global finance industry, and firms recognize that investing in IT is the only way to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.
WSTA not only brings together the individuals across Wall Street who work in the field, but also helps to educate the market and influence technological advancements in the industry.
It is an honor to be a part of the organization.”
Each educational session is focused on a theme curated by leaders in the industry. These events provide opportunities for technology and business professionals to network, exchange ideas/best practices, capitalize on technology advances, and overcome business challenges. Make life-long connections through participation in these events.
The WSTA’s all-in-one event platform promotes engagement and easy access to relevant content for Members. This enables the WSTA to create rich experiences for attendees, no matter where they are located. Check out the list of events we have lined up!
