NEW YORK (PRWEB) JUNE 28, 2023 – The Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA®), a not-for-profit financial services organization that provides technology and business professionals a forum to learn from and connect with each other, is pleased to welcome Mahesh Vannavada, Managing Director, Global Markets Technology, State Street Corporation to its 2023 Board of Directors.
Mahesh Vannavada is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Technology for the Foreign Exchange and Financing Solutions businesses within State Street Global Markets. He joined State Street in 2014 as the Head of IT for FCM business and since then has led the buildout of strategic technology platforms for several markets’ businesses.
Prior to State Street, Mahesh spent more than eight years at Morgan Stanley leading technology teams and spearheading key IT initiatives for its Fixed Income and Derivatives Clearing businesses. In a career spanning over 25 years, Mahesh has worked for large financial institutions, early stage fintechs such as EquiLend, as well as large technology firms.
Mahesh holds an MS in Computer Science from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance, Strategy and Management from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
The WSTA would like to thank its 2023 Board of Directors for volunteering their time, experience and expertise which allows the organization to continue to serve as a valuable resource for the financial industry.
